Hello. Definitely a middle ground, and good studios welcome it because it's less speculative work for them too. Architectural modeling at massing stage produces clean volumetric studies without material and lighting treatment, which is faster and considerably cheaper. It's genuinely sufficient for internal review and most investor conversations at concept stage. The other advantage is that the model carries forward, so when design firms up you're not starting over. Just be explicit that you want massing-level output, otherwise studios default to assuming you want full treatment and quote accordingly. Agree the level of detail in writing.
